Comments on standards
Summaries of all the comments on the Information Requirements, Chemistry, Manufacturing, Target Animal Safety, Good Research Practices, Bioequivalence and Coccidiostats standards will be available on 7 May 1999. All submitters will receive copies of these summaries.
These will also be available on the MAF ACVM website (http://www.maf.govt.nz/acvm) or hard copies may be requested from Erin Daldry at the ACVM Group.
Discussion documents
The following new efficacy standards and guidelines are currently out for comment. Written comments close on 14 May 1999.
- Antibloat
- Emetics
- Intramammary antimicrobials
- Oral rehydration therapy
- Parenteral calcium and magnesium products
- Parenteral and oral antimicrobials
- Prophylactic zinc efficacy for facial eczema
- Ruminant anthelmintics
- Teat sanitisers
The revised version of the residue standard is also available for comment. Written comments close on 21 May 1999.
All these standards may be downloaded from the MAF ACVM website, or a limited number of hard copies are available on request from Erin Daldry at the ACVM Group.
Upcoming standards
It is anticipated that the following efficacy standards will be released for comment sometime in late May/early June.

- General anaesthetics
- Sedatives and tranquillisers
