Since our last update, the following website changes have been made.

Policies

  • ACVM Group Operational Policy on Certification
  • ACVM Group Operational Policy on Fit and Proper Persons as Approved under the Pesticides (Vertebrate Pest Control) Regulations 1983
  • ACVM Group Operational Policy on Numbering of Animal Remedies and Pesticides.

Forms

  • Class determination form (update)
  • Application for registration of a fertiliser – this form is now accompanied by a completed sample form.

Other

  • ACVM-Regulatory Control Methodology under the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997 can be viewed under ‘Publications/ Information Papers’.
  • As mentioned in our last update, we now have available a search engine for information on products currently registered by the Pesticides Board. A similar search engine is being constructed for products currently licensed by the Animal Remedies Board.
  • A suggestion was made by one of our website users that we should give an indication of the size of each of our documents so that users can judge the amount of time it will take to download or print them. We have now noted the number of pages beside our standards, information requirements and labelling guides.
