The requirement for data package reviews to accompany dossiers sent to the ACVM Group
for assessment was omitted from our most recent Information Requirements. We have found
that the lack of these reviews can cause delays during our pre-screen process because they
act as an index to the data provided. To combat any unnecessary delays, we have
reintroduced the requirement for data package reviews. Templates for these can be found on
our website under Publications/Forms. We
would appreciate applicants submitting appropriate data package reviews with their
applications from now on. We would expect that all applications where these are applicable
will be accompanied by data package reviews from 31 October 2000.
As well as being available on the website, the templates will be amalgamated into the
documents to which they refer. Any documents dated prior to 1 August 2000 will have the
old version of the template (unless they are accompanied by an amendment) and the user
should refer to the website for the more up-to-date version.
