Regional Conference on Food Safety

MAF Food, along with the United States FDA and USDA, has organised a regional conference on food safety initiatives influencing public health and trade. There are a number of key guest speakers from New Zealand, the United States and Australian Government organisations, including Sharon Smith Holston (Deputy Commissioner, USDA) and Ian Lindenmayer (Chief Executive of ANZFA). The conference will be held at the Heritage Hotel in Auckland on 15-17 August 2000. Details of the programme, costs etc are available on the MAF Food website at http://www.maf.govt.nz/Food.
