  • Workshops for data assessors, consultants and companies are being held in September and October in various locations (see page 4). If you haven’t already got details, contact Mary Burnett (phone: 04 460 8750, email: burnettm@maf.govt.nz ) to find out about a session close to you.
  • ‘Clinics’ for registrants and licensees – The ACVM Group is running a series of clinics that offer an opportunity for your company to meet with ACVM Group staff one-on-one in your area to discuss any issues. The Group has had very positive feedback from the meetings to date. Contact Mary Burnett (see above) for details.
  • The next AVMAC meeting is planned for 15 November 2000. The Industry Liaison Group meeting will be held in Wellington on the same date.
  • Brian Pidford, National Manager ACVM Verification, is travelling to Canberra for the six-monthly meeting of the National Registration Authority’s Registration Liaison Meeting. Brian will also take the opportunity to meet with the NRA to progress the Mutual Recognition Agreement for Good Manufacturing Practice.
