In the last issue of AgVetLink (October 2000) we advised of the planned changes to the second schedule of the Animal Remedies Act Regulations 1980 and requested comments on the proposal as part of the consultation process. The period for comments was open until 17 November 2000 but to date no comments have been received.
AVMAC and the Animal Remedies Board previously had the opportunity for input into the proposed changes and any comments made by them were included in the document.
MAF Policy will now progress the proposal through the Government process.
