Visit By Chilean Officials

The ACVM Group has done a second series of presentations of the New Zealand animal remedies and pesticide registration systems for visitors from Chile. This delegation included Mr Pablo Binelli Maino, the Assistant Minister of Agriculture.

The Chileans are also interested in the New Zealand process for setting maximum residue limits (MRLs) and are likely to request that a staff member be seconded short term to New Zealand early next year so that they can get a better understanding of the registration process.
