Default Shelf Life for Low Risk Products

We wish to inform applicants that low risk products are required to state on the label a standard expiry date of five years unless advised otherwise. The Decision Making Committee has recommended this period of time because no existing data supplied implies infinite stability. It is also known that, in general, packaging does not last indefinitely.
