These types of applications are now being processed by the Customer Service Officers
(CSOs), who undertake a peer review with technical input before making recom-mendations to
the Decision Making Committee.
Some of you may have noticed that the time taken for processing these applications has
been considerably reduced. Therefore, we advise that in the not so distant future, and
after further training, the CSOs will also process low risk product applications and class
determinations to speed up the process.
