Update: Maximum Residue Limits (MRL) Approvals |
The current status with the latest group of new and changed maximum residue limits (MRL) proposals: the public MRL discussion document being prepared by the Ministry of Health (contact Helen Saba on 04 496 2000) is expected to be distributed to the public in February. The changes being sought are:

It is also proposed that Gibberellic acid be exempt from a MRL and a limitation on its maximum use rate is alternatively proposed. Accordingly, it is proposed that the following entry be added to the Second Table of the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Mandatory Food Standard 1999:
