Publications

ACVM Documents
All of the ACVM documents displayed on our website are current and should be used where applicable. It should be noted, however, that the following documents are undergoing review:

• ACVM Registration Standard and Guideline for Chemistry
  As mentioned in previous issues, submissions have been collated and we are in the process of altering the document to take these into account. Notification will be given in AgVetLink and on the website once the new version is available.

• ACVM Registration Information Requirements for Provisional Registrations
  With the update of the operational policy on provisional registrations to include provisional registrations (generic research), this document also requires updating. This task will be undertaken in the next few months.

Other documents
As agreed with AVMAC, the review of other ACVM standards, guidelines and information requirements will be undertaken on a regular basis. Anyone wishing to make submissions on other documents should address them to:

Changes will be incorporated as appropriate at the time each document is reviewed.

Information waiver documentation
The introduction of this system was delayed by a number of staff changes at the end of last year, but the project is now underway. Progress on information requirements documents will be notified in AgVetLink.

Website

Policies
The following operational policy has been finalised and can be found under Publications/ Operational Policies and Procedures:

• ACVM Group Operational Policy on Provisional Registrations and Provisional Registrations (Generic Research)
  (See this article for further information on this policy.)

Other

• The ACVM databases of currently registered pesticides and currently licensed animal remedies have been updated. These can be found under Registers/Lists.
• A register of approved woolmarkers can also be found under Registers/ Lists.
• Members’ details for AVMAC and the Industry Liaison Group have been updated to reflect changes in ACVM Group staff and other members.
• Our organisational chart has been updated to reflect the recent staff changes.
• Our contacts list has also been updated along with our Who’s Who pictures.
