You will note that the trend from December 1997 until the present indicates that the ACVM Group is processing applications faster than we are receiving them. Our current output does exceed the number of applications received. Please note, however, that the graph is simplistic and does not necessarily accurately represent the amount of work required. Additionally, ongoing recent audits have determined that the actual backlog is slightly higher than indicated in the graph. The graph in the next issue of AgVetLink will be adjusted accordingly to reflect these outcomes.
