PAR Trader Approvals
The ACVM Group has completed the implementation process of approvals for traders of PAR veterinary medicines. Certificates were sent during the last week of May to all the principal practices listed on the Schedule of Approved Traders of PAR Veterinary Medicines. The Schedule can be found on the website (www.nzfsa.govt.nz/acvm). Any changes or errors to the approval should be notified to Mary Alexander (Mary.Alexander@nzfsa.govt.nz or phone 04 463 2550).
The next stage in the PAR Trader Programme will be monitoring the quality systems. This will be based on random sampling of organisations across the country to assess compliance with the ACVM Standard. The monitoring programme will be used to determine if there is any need for regular monitoring (and the frequency of any such programme) or, alternatively, if random monitoring is sufficient.
