Compliance update
The ACVM Group is pleased to report that non-compliance investigations are at an all-time low. Only seven products are being investigated – mainly for advertising of unapproved claims.
However, we must note that there is an increase in the number of unregistered veterinary medicines that importers are trying to get into New Zealand. The ACVM Group is working closely with MAF Quarantine Services to educate these importers on ACVM requirements.
We encourage you to advise us of any possible non-compliances. Information you provide helps us with effective investigation and quick resolution.
