Retail display of PAR products
Registrants and veterinarians are reminded that section 3.11 (prescription animal remedies) of the ACVM New Zealand Labelling and Advertising Guide for Veterinary Medicines Requiring Registration states that PAR products must not be displayed in public view, prompting the interest of purchasers. This means that it is unacceptable for any PAR product to be displayed or ‘stored’ in the retail showroom space amongst goods that are offered for sale without restriction. Such products must be kept in areas that are not intended for members of the public.
