From the Director
The last two months have been exceptionally busy ones for the Group. Several articles in this issue relate to the new role we have undertaken – managing Approvals for NZFSA. (There will be more about this in future issues of AgVetLink.)
Since the last issue, substantial progress has also been made in furthering working relationships with national and international organisations, and Group members have attended many international fora (pages 7-11).
The Antibiotic Resistance Expert Panel has completed its report, which was publicly released on 11 October. A brief summary appears on page 2, and the entire report is available on the ACVM website.
Preliminary results from this year’s Food Residue Surveillance Programme are provided on page 3.
