GRAS update

Following an internal review of the GRAS application process, the ACVM Group has concluded that several changes to the process would be beneficial. The primary change to the process is that all assessment of applications will be completed internally.

The ACVM Group will still provide a summary of the applications on the NZFSA website for public consultation and will continue to notify interested parties by direct email of proposed changes. (The timeframe for commenting on applications will be 21 days from the date of uploading onto the website.) The process remains cost free and it is hoped that the changes made will expedite the process now that a greater number of applications are being submitted.
