Antibiotic Sales Report

This report is available on the ACVM section of the website. The information is presented as data on sales of active ingredients of classes of antibiotics, administration route and intended species type. No assumption is made about off-label use or which approved use is most common. As a significant amount of antibiotic is registered for multiple species, including both companion and production animals, the report includes discussion on the possible use based on knowledge of the products and likely uses.

The report covers sales of streptomycin used in horticulture, including all the data available since the initial data supplied in 1999.

There are no changes in the sales of the antibacterials that are considered critically important for humans that would require the risk management of currently registered products to be reviewed.
