MRL Update
The New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Food Standards 2006 came into effect on 21 September. It consolidates the 2005 standard with the amendments made to it throughout the year. Public consultation on the first amendment to the new standard, which proposes to set MRLs for the agricultural compounds listed in the following table, has begun.
