Labelling and Packaging: GMP

Labelling and packaging product are both part of the manufacturing process. All the relevant GMP standards and guidelines also apply to these steps. For example, manufacturing must be carried out in approved premises. This means that all steps in the process, including labelling and packaging, must be carried out in approved premises. Packaging in unapproved site(s), which has come to light in recent audits, is not permitted.
