ACVM Act Implementation Project

The ACVM Act implementation project has been designed to cover the amendments to the ACVM Act and related activities; it follows on from the policy development project already undertaken by the NZFSA Policy Group. Project sponsor Debbie Morris and project manager Warren Hughes have set up a team to manage the implementation of the proposed changes in regulations and notices, policies and procedures. It will also manage the development of technical standards, operational systems/processes and any other tools required to administer the amendments to the Act.

In addition to discussion in AVMAC meetings, the ACVM website will be one of the main tools used to provide information on the implementation of the ACVM Act amendments. Public consultation documents and other key information papers will be placed on this site to enable stakeholders to understand the areas of change and to provide valuable feedback/comments on the proposed changes.
