Vacancy 12/53 Senior Advisor (Chemicals)

This is the job for you if you have a tertiary degree with a strong chemistry component. Experience of relevance to biological sciences and agriculture is preferred.

Description

In these roles you will be responsible for administering the appraisal-related components of the ACVM Act. Your time will be divided between the technical appraisal of approvals issued under the Act, and developing, implementing, evaluating and reviewing standards relating to veterinary medicines and agricultural compounds. This will include providing risk management and technical advice on the registration of veterinary medicines and agricultural compounds. One of these roles may be for you if you:

For both of these roles you should demonstrate:

• excellent communications skills, both oral and written

• an understanding of project management principles

• a capability for accurately analysing technical information

• a depth of practical experience

• the ability to work independently and make pragmatic decisions within statutory timeframes

• an aptitude for prioritising, organising and accomplishing tasks.
