Registration Renewal/Expired Registrations
The ACVM Group recently examined all registrations to determine which ones had passed their expiry date. The procedure for expired registrations is as follows:
Expired products are removed from the public register via a NZ Gazette notice. To reinstate a product, a registrant will be required to submit a type C9 application, including a Product Data Sheet and a current marketing label. These documents must be attached to a letter indicating that you wish to reinstate the product to the register. This will incur a fee on a 'cost for time spent' basis.
Although we do endeavour to send out reminder letters two months before expiry, we remind registrants that essentially it is the responsibility of the registrant to ensure that products are renewed before they expire.
