VTA Review

Terms of reference are being drawn up for NZFSA's Compliance and Investigation Group (CIG) to carry out a 'slice of life' review of randomly chosen vertebrate toxic agent (VTA) products. The review will be a 'trace forward' to see if registration conditions on the sale and use of the products are being met, and if these conditions are managing the ACVM Act risk areas properly. If any issues in regard to the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms (HSNO) Act arise during the review, ERMA NZ will be advised.
