Substances Generally Recognised as Safe (GRAS)
The versions of the GRAS registers found below include substances that are incorporated in Schedule 7 of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2001. The lists also include substances now in the process of being added to the regulations.
The substances on the lists may be used in the formulation of products with confidence, if used in accordance with the conditions stated for substances generally recognised as safe (GRAS substances).
