Notice Under the Animal Products (Regulated Control Scheme-Limited Processing Fishing Vessels) Regulations 2001 (Notice No. 1216)

Pursuant to Regulation 9 of the Animal Products (Regulated Control Scheme-Limited Processing Fishing Vessels) Notice 2001, I give notice that the following form of processing is designated as being treated as limited processing for the purposes of these Regulations:

• the addition of the preservative sulphur dioxide or sodium and potassium sulphites to scampi (Metanephrops challengeri).

This notice shall take effect on the date of publication.
