REFUND OR WAIVER OF E-CERT CHARGES

Animal Products (Fees, Charges, and Levies) Regulations 2007

Under regulation 9 of the Animal Products (Fees, Charges, and Levies) Regulations 2007 (“the Regulations”), the acting Chief Executive of the New Zealand Food Safety Authority, or his or her delegate, has the power to waive or refund any charge specified in the Regulations, in whole or in part, in any appropriate case or class of cases.

Under regulation 9 of the Regulations, I hereby waive or refund, as appropriate, the whole of the charge required under Schedule 1, Part 6 of the Regulations for the use of the electronic certification system from 20 July 2007 for those industry users that have paid or were invoiced for use of the system during that period.
