Manual 17: Laboratory Procedures

This manual contains instructions on procedures to be used in implementing the Meat Act 1981, the Meat Regulations 1969, the Game Regulations 1975, the Food and Drug Act 1969 and its Regulations 1973, and the Stock (Insecticides and Oestrogens) Regulations 1961 in relation to Meat Division laboratory procedures. It is issued in accordance with the authorities granted to the Director, Meat Division.

As this manual contains specific instructions on Meat Division procedures it is for restricted issue to Meat Division staff only.

The manual will remain the property of the Meat Division, MAF, but may be considered as being on loan to those persons to whom it was issued.
