1 Border Crossing Points
1.1 On 31 March 2008 the Secretariat of Treasury published a Modification to the Foreign Trade Rules for 2007. Among the most important features included in this report, under Annex 21, are the modifications to the authorized crossing points for the import of a wide variety of agricultural products. The information was provided from a translated document supplied to the New Zealand Embassy Mexico by the US Foreign Agriculture Service and the information should be verified by New Zealand exporters with their Mexican importers or agents.
1.2 The products covered include:
- meat preparations, mechanically deboned meat from hoofed animals and food preparation;
- milk and dairy products, baby formulas, bakery products, ice cream, food preparations and beverages containing milk;
- products of animal origin, animal oil and fats, residues from the food industry, animal feed, glands, organs, secretions, casein; hides and skins products, wool and hair.
