Veterinary Authorised/Authorised Persons Designated to Sign NZFSA Fish Export Certificates

Animal Products Act 1999

Pursuant to section 65 of the Animal Products Act 1999, I designate those persons listed in the attached schedule as veterinary authorised/authorised persons for the purposes of issuing the following official assurances:

i NZFSA fish export certificates excluding

• live animals and

• genetic material

ii Notwithstanding the live animal exclusion in (i) above, veterinary authorised/authorised persons listed in this section may issue NZFSA export certificates for live fish to be used immediately for food.

And for withdrawal, reissuing and replacing official assurances under section 64 except for the reissue where overseas authorities have received the official assurance.

A veterinarian from this list must sign the certificate where this is required by the certificate form or OMAR.
