Bivalve Molluscan Shellfish Sorting Sheds
On 1 June 2006 the Animal Products (Regulated Control Scheme – Bivalve Molluscan Shellfish) Regulations 2006 (the RCS) came into force. This RCS requires the Director-General of Agriculture and Forestry to keep a register of sorting sheds that are authorised to sort BMS for commercial purposes.
