Export Approved Premises

An export approved premises is:

(a) any premises approved under the Animal Products (Export Approved Premises) Notice 2006. These premises are included in the Export Approved Premises list which can be searched from this page using the search facility below.

and

(b) any premises where animal material or product not for human or animal consumption is processed under a registered risk management programme (RMP), or regulated control scheme, and an official assurance will be required for that animal material or product.

All listed Bee Product Premises were due for 2-yearly listing renewal on 1 July 2008. It is anticipated that all operations covered by these listings will have already been transferred into Risk Management Programmes that have been registered since 1 July 2006, or that operations requiring Bee Product Premises listing have ceased. Consequently NZFSA is not expecting any Bee Product Premises listings to be renewed and on this basis all unrenewed Bee Product Premises listings will be removed from the Export Approved Premises list on 1 September 2008. Bee product operators who do need to maintain a Bee Product Premises listing under the Animal Products (Export Approved Premises) Notice 2006 should contact Erin O'Brien - Coordinator, Approvals & ACVM, erin.obrien@nzfsa.govt.nz  (04) 894 2630 prior to 1 September 2008. Any operator who is unsure about whether they need to maintain their Bee Product Premises listing should contact their local verifier to clarify their listing needs.
