Verifiers - Recognised Persons List

Verifiers are recognised persons who have been assessed as competent to undertake the ongoing verification of a risk management programme and/or premises operating under a regulated control scheme.

A Recognised Person is someone who is accredited, under section 103, of the Animal Products Act 1999, to perform specialist functions or activities including; verification, evaluation, testing, examination.

Prior to 1 June 2005 'Recognised Persons' were known as 'Accredited Persons'
