Dual operator butchers
The following provides information relevant to dual operator butchers.
Under the Animal Products Act 1999 the dual operator butchers are required to register a risk management programme (RMP) before commencing processing. A dual operator butcher is a retail butcher who also provides homekill and recreational catch services at the same premises or place.
