Consultation - Inclusion of Porcine in the NMD
The New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA) is beginning public consultation on a proposed inclusion of porcine in NMD; presented in the Discussion Paper. This will require amendment to the Animal Products (National Microbiological database Specifications) Notice 2008 and Schedule 1 Technical Procedures. Changes to the existing red meat and poultry programmes are included and these are of an editorial nature.

This consultation closed 23 January 2009.
