Consultation - Unpasteurised milk products Round 1

The proposed framework for the manufacture, importation and sale of raw milk products is outlined in the NZFSA discussion document below. Comments are being sought from industry, consumers, health professionals, importers, exporters and other stakeholders. NZFSA is inviting submissions from any interested party, whether representing organisations or acting as individuals. To request a hard copy, email tss@nzfsa.govt.nz or phone 04 8942467.

This is the first round of consultation conducted by NZFSA on the proposal to facilitate:

• the New Zealand manufacture, domestic sale, and export of unpasteurised milk product
• the importation of a similar range of such products.
