Consultation - Wild food review: Round 1

This NZFSA position paper is a companion paper to a report on wild food commissioned from the Institute of Environmental Science & Research Limited (ESR). ESR undertook a search of available scientific and research papers, and published reports. The chemical and microbial risks humans are exposed to via wild food in New Zealand have not previously been comprehensively assessed. The ESR report presents a significant body of evidence and information on food/hazard combinations that may pose risks to humans.
