Food safety and the New Zealand public 2007 survey

4 Food Safety Standards in New Zealand

Despite the fact that declared interest in food safety issues has fallen, New Zealanders have actually become marginally less likely to say that food standards have improved in recent years. 53% of respondents believed that food safety standards have improved over the last 5 years (down 3%). 21% thought that they had deteriorated (up 1%) and 12% felt that food safety standards were no different (up 1%).
