Two changes:

1) Additional statement added to declaration 2 of SOR template I. 'For sample shipments under 50kg (25kg for the EU) the aforementioned product may also have been subsampled and repacked using validated techniques. These subsamples are representative of the bulk product.' This is to cover for small samples taken from a bulk product using NZFSA validated techniques to prevent contamination and ensure that the quality of the samples is equal to the quality of the final product without the need to retest the subsample.

2) Only Non NZ origin Dairy components will need to be declared under Declaration 4c of SOR template I. Animal origin processing aids and additives of non dairy origin will no longer be required to be declared on SOR template I. If required then NZFSA may request an additional manufacturer's declaration attesting to the exclusion of any processing aid or additive of animal origin in order to meet an importing countries requirements.
