Warning to Users of Animal Products E-Cert

1. Access
Access to the E-Cert application is restricted to those Users registered with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of New Zealand and to whom a personalised user identification has been issued.

2. Acceptance
Conditions of Use apply to all Users. Access to the E-Cert application will be denied unless the Conditions of Use are accepted prior to use by the User.

3. Unavailability of Service
Despite registration and issue of a personalised user identification access to, and use of, the E-Cert application may not be possible from time to time. The causes may include incompatibility of the E-Cert application with computers or computerised systems through which access is sought, or a systems failure of the E-Cert application, or through access being denied for reason of repair or upgrade of the system. In the event of access failure or system malfunctions, which is not explained by on-screen notice, you are advised to contact the System Administrator so that alternative arrangements may be made if necessary.

4. Loss or Damage
The E-Cert application is made available to Users on an "as is" basis. Any loss or damages incurred through use of the application, inability to use the application, or through malfunction of the application shall be the responsibility of the User.

The E-Cert application provides additional functionality to accommodate efficient transfer and re-use of data. However this does not constitute a responsibility to do so not does it indicate acceptance of any related liability.

Any company, organisation and/or person who develops and/or uses software, business processes or anything else that is not part of the E-Cert application but that relies on or utilises data from or sends data to the E-Cert application does so at their own risk.

We will provide notification of changes to the E-Cert application, but are not responsible for any loss, problem or inconvenience etc. that may be caused by any change to the E-Cert application or its functionality.
