Promotional and Trade Samples

As an importer, you are permitted to bring in samples for promotional distribution that are not intended for sale. Clearance of promotional samples is carried out and monitored on a case by case basis by ACCH. You are required to declare the consignment to New Zealand Customs upon its arrival.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's (MAF) Biosecurity Authority is responsible for animal and plant quarantine requirements and you should make direct contact with them to clarify their requirements.
