FSANZ, Labelling & Composition

Consumers are becoming increasingly interested in what is in the food they eat. It is important therefore that New Zealanders are able to make informed choices about that food. The New Zealand Food Safety Authority has been working closely with Food Standards Australia New Zealand to introduce new food standards with particular attention given to food composition and labelling.
