Organics - Exporting

Switzerland

Switzerland recognises New Zealand’s official organic assurance programme (OOAP) as equivalent to their organic requirements.

New Zealand is listed as a ‘third country’ with equivalence with Switzerland for some organic products. Note that not all types of organic products are covered. For example, aquaculture is excluded.

You must have an export certificate (official assurance) from NZFSA for each consignment of organic products you export to Switzerland.
