NZ Objectives and Strategy

The New Zealand Codex Strategy was first established in 1996. It provided New Zealand with a sound framework for promoting our interests in Codex. The document was reviewed in 2001 to reflect developments both at domestic and international levels. The strategy was revised in 2005 and published as New Zealand's Strategic Objectives in Codex. In 2009 NZFSA performed a review in preparation for the updating of the Strategy. The updated Strategy is due for release in February 2010.
