Food Regulation Policy Options Consultation Paper
The Food Regulation Standing Committee (FRSC) is responsible for co-ordinating policy advice to the Australia and New Zealand Food Regulation Ministerial Council (Ministerial Council) and comprises government representatives from New Zealand, Australia and all States and Territories.
A FRSC Sub working group has undertaken scoping work and developed a Policy Options Consultation Paper for the addition to food of substances other than vitamins and minerals. This Policy Options Paper will be available at the link below from 10 February 2006 on this website. The Policy Options Paper may also be obtained after 13 February 2006 by calling (04) 463 2753 in New Zealand or emailing foodstds@nzfsa.govt.nz .
Submissions close on Friday 7 April 2006.
