Processed food and retail sale - Good operating practice
Good operating practice (GOP) is a system of actions or activities that when consistently applied will produce or contribute to the production of safe and suitable food. Good operating practice is the basis of a custom-made food control plan (FCP).
The guidance below may also be useful for operators developing their own GOP procedures for other risk-based progammes, such as food safety programmes (FSPs) and risk management programmes (RMPs).
