Heller Tasty Ltd are recalling their Lamb and Mint Sausages due to the presence of small pieces of soft blue plastic.

There have been no reports of illness, however any person concerned about their health should seek medical advice. This product should not be consumed.

The effected sausages have been sold through New World, Pak n Save and Fresh Choice supermarkets in the South Island from 26 February to 6 March 2008.

Consumers should return the product to their retailer for a full refund or phone 0800 HELLER (0800 435537) with any queries.

This recall only affects this product.
