High E coli count in milk

Happy Valley Dairies are recalling their 2L milk after discovering that the product contains high levels of E coli. All milk produced with batch numbers 151008 to 171008 or Use By Date 28 October to 30 October 2008 should not be consumed.

There have been no reports of illness, however any person concerned about their health should seek medical advice.

The product is sold in supermarkets and retail outlets throughout Invercargill. Customers should return the product to their retailer for a full refund or phone 03 226 6942 with any queries.

This recall does not affect any other Happy Valley Dairies product.
