Wheeler NZ Limited are recalling one batch of their Pacific Ocean Mackerel in Tomato Sauce after discovering animal contamination in one can of this product. All Pacific Ocean Mackerel in Tomato Sauce with Batch #08146 JTBT1F0 with the above expiry date should not be consumed.

There have been no reports of illness, however any person concerned about their health should seek medical advice.

This product batch was sold through supermarkets and other food outlets throughout New Zealand, in early 2007. Customers should return the product to their retailer for a full refund or phone 0800 WHEELER (0800 943 3537) with any queries.

This recall only affects this batch of this product.
