Couplands Bakeries is initiating a precautionary recall on their 2 dozen frozen Assorted Savouries with the above best before dates 29/12/09; 30/12/09; 5/1/10 due to a possible contamination with plastic fragments. All 2 dozen frozen Assorted Savouries with these dates should not be consumed.

There have been no reports of illness, however any person concerned about their health should seek medical advice.

The product is sold at Prime Cut Meats in Wanaka and in Couplands Bakeries stores throughout the South Island. Customers are asked to return this product to the place of purchase for replacement or refund.

No other Couplands Bakeries products are affected by this recall.
